Saving an Image from the "Dumpster"

I wanted to keep the length of this video as short as possible. You may have to watch it again (depending on your reading speed) to completely read the verbage on the intro, and at the bottome of each example.

I captured this image of Sea Lions at the South end of Spieden Island on March 18th, 2011. In my haste to capture the image before they slid into the water I found I had my cam originally set to capture Jpeg with the color temperature setting set on "tungsten." I usually prefer to shoot with "Raw" settings on the camera. Of course I had wished all was set up properly and that the motor drive was on to capture more images but....... The first image you see in this short series was the original capture. Recently I have been working with some photoshop actions to speed up image "processing," "correction" and creative retouching. The "Final Touch" was created using various settings with the Topaz plugins for photoshop. I rather enjoy the impressionist quality of the final image. How about you?
